                                             Snowy Day

                                                         By Eugene Brister

Yesterday I had a great day off!  I played in the snow with Hagen.  We went in and had a wonderful lunch too.  We played in the snow and we had a snowball fight.  we all played military.  We played Star Wars outside in the snow.  Then we played football until we were freezing.  We went inside and played NASCAR 99.  Then we ate pizza.  It was a good day!

                                         My Snow Day

                                                                   By Brittney Settlemire

I had a wonderful snowday.  When I woke up, I looked out my window.  I couldn’t believe my eyes!  There was snow EVERYWHERE!  The first thing I did was wake up Bailey.  I said, “Look! Look! There is snow!”  We got dressed and ate breakfast.  We waited for Mom to wake up.  We were bummed when she told us that we had to go to town.  The snow was calling us, but we had to wait until we got back to play.

As soon as we got back from town, we unloaded the car and headed for some fun.  Cody threw a snowball at my back.  I thought it was Bailey so I threw one at her.  She got mad and threw one at Cody and the war was on!

After we had a snowball fight, we built a snowman.  After we played for a while we went inside and Mom made us some hot chocolate.  It was the best hot chocolate I ever tasted.

We all got on the couch with a big blanket and watched a movie.  Later, we ate dinner and watched TV.  Finally, we were so exhausted that we just went to bed.  It was the best snow day ever!

                                                Snow Day

                                                                        By Bailey Settlemire

Yesterday morning when I woke up, I looked out the window and saw snow!  There wouldn't be any school today.  Me and Ameila went outside to feed the chickens.  The snow made it slippery and we fell on our bottoms.  We were having so much fun, we decided to eat the snow off the log.  It tasted just like water.  When we were done, we went inside, got in bed, and watched TV.  But I was not happy that there was no school.

I love school!!!

                                                     Snow

                                    By Eugene Brister

I see snow falling from the sky.

I see deep feet prints everywhere.

I taste the cold, wet snow.

It tastes like water, but better.

I smell the clean, fresh air.

I smell the pine trees.

I hear the snow crunch under my feet.

I hear themy friends down the street.

I feel the snowflakes on my face.

I feel the snowball hit my head!

                           Snow Girl

She's fluffy and cold.

She likes to play in the snow.

She's my sweetheart!
