Happy New Year!

Welcome Back to School!

It's hard to believe that the 3rd quarter of the 2011-2012 school year is already here!

We are learning our math facts with our color coded "Karate" timed tests! Many of the K-1 Kids have already earned at least one color belt!

The Fun-O-Friends and the Fun-O-Grams continue to help us with our reading!

We will celebrate the 100th Day of School in February...Practice counting to 100 all the different ways!

The Recycling Puppeteers will visit our school again this year with their puppet show scheduled for Friday, February 10th!

The Cat in the Hat will also visit us again this year for our Read-A-Thon Celebration on March 2nd. We will read during the month of February and receieve our prizes on Dr. Seuss' birthday in March!

The annual Oral Language Festival will be held at Standard School this year! We will recite a couple of poems about learning at school...Mark yor calendar...March 9th!

Outdoor Rec Day will be March 16th for the 4th through 8th grades with all the other small schools coming to Piute Mountain School. Our K-3rd grade kids will go to Caliente for a fun field trip! 

The third quarter of the 2011-2012 school year promises to be a busy one!

Remember...Work Hard...Learn Lots...Have Fun...And Do The Right Thing Because It's The Right Thing To Do!
