Volunteer Opportunities in December
Thursday, December 1st…. “What’s Your
Talent” Coloring Contest Presentation. Lisa
will be presenting the December contest after
lunch on Thursday. If you’d like to help her
contact Sarah for details.
Sunday, December 4th…Meet at 3:30 at McElroy
hall to set up Santa’s Secret Shop. All
volunteers are welcome...the more of us there
the quicker set up will go!
Monday through Friday, December 5th to 9th….
Santa’s Secret Shop… We need volunteers to
help! We are open from 11 am to 2:45…please
let Sarah know when you can come…we really
need volunteers for this event to run smoothly!
Any portion of this time is appreciated.
Wednesday, December 7th…. “What’s Your
Talent” Coloring Contest Judging. We need 2
volunteers to be judges for the December
contest. All entries are due by the beginning of
school on Wednesday. Judging can take place
mid day or later. If you are able to volunteer for
this please contact Sarah for details.
Wednesday, December 7th…. PTC Gift Wrapping
Party…please come by McElroy Hall at 2:45 to
help us wrap the gifts for Santa to disperse on
the night of the Christmas program. All gifts
have been donated, we just need to wrap them!
Thursday, December 8th…. “What’s Your
Talent” Coloring Contest Prizes. Lisa, Breanna
and Letty will pass out prizes to our winners.
Presenting of prizes can take place after lunch
recess on Thursday.
Wednesday, December 14th…. Christmas
Program Silent Auction Baked Goodies. Please
email Sarah if you are planning to donate so we
have a heads up on what is coming in. All
baked goods need to be at school by
Wednesday at 2:45 so we can be prepared for
the event Thursday evening. All proceeds help
our 6th graders go to camp keep!
Thursday, December 15th…. Christmas Program
…. Volunteers needed to help with baked
goodies silent auction, raffle baskets and
Santa’s Gifts. All of these events take place in
McElroy Hall…so even if you volunteer you can
still see the entire program! Please contact
Sarah for details.
Mark your calendars…
Retired Text Book Sale…December 17th, 9 am to 1 pm at Caliente School
Kathleen reported that the school would be holding a “retired” text book giveaway on Saturday, December 17th from 9 am to 1 pm at Caliente School for any community members that are interested. After this date the books will be recycled. Please come and see if there are any books that might interest you.
