Each year the district hosts our annual Outdoor Rec Day. On September 11, six small schools throughout the county gathered at Piute Mountain School for a fun-filled day. The schools in attendance were Elk Hills, Belridge, McKittrick, Midway, Linns Valley and, of course, Caliente and Piute Mtn Schools.

There are several different events that the students migrate through. Horseshoess are always a hit.

The Archery event is also very popular.

We offer all sizes of Hula-Hooping.

There are many, many more events each year and we rely on the help of all of our dedicated volunteers. Each student proudly displays their ribbons.

And everybody enjoys the snack bar.
